Wickham Bishops Parish Council

Wickham Bishops is a village in the Maldon district of Essex with a population of just under 2000 residents, situated approximately 3 miles from Witham which offers a main line rail station with services to London and Ipswich, and close to the A12.

The village enjoys good amenities such as St Bartholomew’s Church, a busy village hall that hosts a diverse range of clubs and societies for all ages, children’s play area, a well-used library, general store with Post Office, a recently refurbished and re-opened pub, hairdressers, health food shop, beauty treatments salon, tea room, vehicle repair garage and car showroom, estate agents and barbers.   There is a 17-acre sports field with football teams ranging from 6 yrs to veterans and 4 floodlit tennis courts.
